Zen Beacon: Artist's Statement

The child’s tricycle seat in the center of Zen Beacon represents the
childlike joy, empowerment, and mobility I like to feel when I meditate.
It isn’t possible to occupy that little token of a seat, but you can arrive
there through imagination or meditation.

Walking around Zen Beacon in a circle while gazing through the
screens creates an interesting visual effect.
